About

A few quotes:

“You write because you have an idea in your mind that feels so genuine, so important, so true. And yet, by the time this idea passes through the different filters of your mind, and into your hand, and onto the page or computer screen—it becomes distorted, and it’s been diminished. The writing you end up with is an approximation, if you’re lucky, of whatever it was you really wanted to say.” -Khaled Hosseini

And,

“If you are a dreamer, come in. If you are a dreamer, a wisher, a liar, a hoper, a prayer, a magic-bean-buyer. If you’re a pretender, come sit by my fire, for we have some flax-golden tales to spin. Come in! Come in!” -Shel Silverstein

    • I love that quote, too! It comes from one of my favorite authors, Khaled Hosseini. He wrote The Kite Runner, A Thousand Splendid Suns, and And the Mountains Echoed. You very well have already heard of him, but if not, I highly recommend his work! Thanks for reading both quotes and sharing your thoughts :)
